What RawPace doesn't do
RawPace does a few things on purpose, and tries to do them well. This is what it doesn’t do, or doesn’t do yet.
It’s not a navigation app
It follows a GPX route and alerts you about turns and when you go off course, but it doesn’t plan routes, doesn’t reroute you if you get lost, and doesn’t read out street names. If you go off route, it tells you and lets you rejoin wherever you like.
No auto-pause, bike cadence or power
- It doesn’t pause on its own (on purpose): you pause, and it alerts you if you’ve been stopped for a while or if you move while paused.
- It doesn’t read bike sensors (pedal cadence, wheel speed) or power meters: only heart rate straps.
- It doesn’t calculate calories yet (the KCAL field shows the watch’s own estimate and isn’t exported).
- It doesn’t follow training plans or suggest workouts: you create your own interval workouts.
